TV Resolution questions?

Um yes. I'm Amanda. When I was 17 I got tubes put in my ears to help me from haven ear affections and hearing loss..Well now I'm 18 and I have no insurance to go seek help. Well last-night I woke up around 2am and realized my left ear wasn't right..It sounds like there is a big air bubble in it I can hear EVERYTHING much louder then the other ear...It even hurts. Should I get a tattoo or a piercing?

Personally, I would suggest getting a piercing, and I say this because I started out with a piercing first and if I felt the need to take it out I could easily replace it with a clear retainer. Unlike a tattoo, you of course cannot do this if you regret it unless you're willing to pay $100-$1,000 for removal. I had a lip piercing once, snakebites actually, and didn't like it much because I had too much attention drew to me, but at least I could take it out. BUT, the hole didn't close up completely, so now I'm stuck with a permanent hole in my lip. The only reason I don't suggest the tattoo is because of the pain. I have a foot tattoo, and the pain was excruciating, but it sounds like the better option IF you don't want a hole stuck in your lip forever. Both of them have their consequences, so at the end of the day, it's your ultimate decision.

How can I effectively remove a water stain from my ceiling?

Water from bathroom above the living look leaked on to my living room below creating a water stain on the drywall seam of the popcorn ceiling. The leak has since been fixed and I sprayed two layers of Kilz Upshot on the stain, which is around 1" wide by around 3' long. Subsequently, I rolled on two coats of white latex on the whole ceiling. The stain is now not visible in daylight if you stand underneath it. However, at an angle during daytime a light shadow is visible. At night, when the floor lamp is on, you can clearly see the area where the kilz was sprayed. An associate at a home improvement store has suggested I use a Behr sealer again on this area only and then apply another coat of latex on the affected area. Will this work ? Any suggestions would be welcome.

Removing a dead mouse from inside back of fridge?

At first I believed the stink came from the mouse hole in the brick wall. I sealed that airtight with expanding foam filler, also found a second gap in brickwork and filled that. I moved the fridge away from the wall and realised the stench is coming from the fridge not the wall. I can't see it in there and have used gloves to feel in all the gaps and nothing. There is however a moisture hole where condensed moisture drips out into a tray so it could have died in there. There is no trace of smell inside the fridge. I can't see it under the fridge. Any ideas? I put tape on the hole to see if the stench receedes. If the fridge was old I'd replace it but that isn't the case. How to fix this? Should I try to vacuum the body out from the moisture hole?

Pregnancy or PCOS? ? ?

Okay, so I'm always on time for my period. January was a completely normal period for me (timing and flow). In Feb. my period was on time but it was brown spotting with a little bit of blood and little to no clots from what I remember. During January and February I was sexually active and used a condom all but 2 times (pull-out method, yes i know it doesn't work) March period was about a week late (I had been stressing) and was just brown spotting and very little red blood, no clots at all. April and May was on time but was just like March in relation to the flow. I've been on time, just gone from a normal flow to brown spotting. I've taken who knows how many pregnancy tests because a co-worker of mine spotted like I am when she was prego so it kinda freaked me out. My cousin's prego also and she said that it wasn't that uncommon to spot brown in early pregnancy. I talked to my aunt about it and she said that PCOS runs in the family so it could just be PCOS but idk about that. I don't have hardly any of the symptoms of PCOS like my other family members do, no dark patches of skin anywhere on my body, no ultra hard periods, and besides feb-present, never an irregular period. My skin has always had breakouts and been oily since I hit puberty so that's nothing new to me, actually, my skin's gotten clearer as I've gotten older. I'm 19 and do work but I don't have insurance or the money to go to an OB-GYN to get everything inside me checked out to see what's going on with me. I've felt a little on and off nausea a few times, I had stayed up later than usual and I had an empty stomach and all of a sudden I just got this sick feeling that was gone by the time I woke up. It is lightweight and portable, so I can stick all of the items into one travel bag except for a tube that is part of the frame, it is too long (around 4 feet long) to fit in a bag. My idea was to take the tube and bungee cord it to the outside of a travel bag. Can I do this or will this go against regulations? If I can't, is there any other methods I could use?

Similar to Alice, I've fallen down into A rabbit hole. It holds me inside, warm. I have not yet tried hopelessly crawling out, as I am opposed to the idea. Alice was open minded, very. I'm in it, so I as one believe that it's very comforting. Another would expect more of me; wanting me to come out, try new activity's, be sexual, and open with my emotions. I am a female. But I feel as if I'm not female or male. That most certainly does not mean that I feel as if I'm something in between. God no. I feel like I'm different from the rest. Best foundation for oily, acne-prone skin?

I am a teen, and I have extremely oily skin, not just my t-zone, but my cheeks as well. I need a good light-medium coverage foundation that has a pump or a squeeze tube! I HATE open bottle/capped foundations. I have the hardest time with them and end up applying too much. Like I said, I want an oil controlling, cheap, long-wearing foundation. Can someone identify this Winchester .22 Long rifle?

I recently inherited a Winchester .22 Long rifle from my grandfather when he passed away. I have been trying to look for information on the gun online to see if there's anything I need to know before I shoot it. But I can't find the gun anywhere! I know it is Winchester because it is branded as such on the barrel. I also know it is .22 long because it is designated as such below the Winchester stamp. But I am unsure of the model. The gun is quite old (I don't know manufacture date but it's been around for decades) and I don't think it's made anymore. The gun has a loading mechanism where rounds are inserted into a tube that leads up to the chamber. A spring loaded pole must be unscrewed and puled out to expose a cartridge shaped hole on the bottom of the tube (which is below the barrel) to load rounds. The gun has a pump action that also cocks a fully functioning hammer (a possible substitute?) It's fairly easy to field strip as one tool-less screw needs to be undone to open the chamber. Can anyone enlighten me as to the model number of this gun as I'm looking forward to learning more about it and taking it out to shoot. If I get the chance I will upload photos to provide added clarity. Any help is much appreciated!

I was in the store on Sunday checking out the clearance bin, a lady came over to browse too and she was one of those that like to get right in your face and talk. In the first chapter of my story, it ends at night. Should I get a tattoo or a piercing?

I'd say the piercing. Piercings give you more option to play around with what style you want to put on while tattoos are permanent and hurt like hell to get, not to mention it's more expensive. Also, if you ever grow out of tattoo and want it removed, it hurts even more to have it removed and will leave a scar. It can take hours to get a tattoo too.

My sisters appendix exploded! help?

so my sisters appendix exploded like 3 weeks ago, she had the infection and they drained it out with tubes. BUT she still has her exploded appendix inside her body because the hospital she went to is giving her the run around. Upstairs Neighbor is Smoking, what can I do?

I live in a rowhome and although the walls are not necessarily thin, when the neighbor upstairs smokes the stench is unbearable! I talked to her this afternoon and she even though she admitted that she smoked, she tried to convince me that the smoke was coming from "somewhere else"! She even tried to convince me that it was coming from the apartment next door, but when I told her it was vacant she had a blank look on her face. Yes I am but i don't like the changes that have taken place over the years. Beautiful old houses torn down and soulless estates erected on the land. Hospitals and schools either converted into posh apartments or left boarded up to be vandalised whilst the council argues about what is to happen to them. It is not really a town but a London borough but as each borough has it's own little `town' I suppose it could be called a town.

Transmission Problems?

I encountered a recent conflict with my 2002 Honda Odyssey during a road trip. As I was driving at a constant speed b/w 75-80 mph, at one point, my transmission odometer climbed from 2-5 very quickly; the pedals felt as if I had switched gears and shifted. Almost immediately, there was a great cloud of white smoke coming out from the hood. The white smoke had a foul stench in it, and at first, I thought something was overheated. Coolant levels seem fine. Engine oil levels were okay as well (there was no engine light on either). However, the transmission oil was literally gone and had lost its typical "pinkish" color; in place of it was a nasty, burned out odor. I do not know what happened. Later, when I re-fueled, and continued home at slower speeds (around 50-55 mph), the gasoline levels went down very, very rapidly. I went to Advanced AutoZone, and they suggested I replace a circuit sensor? in which I did. However, this still does not explain what caused the white smoke in the first place, or the possible transmission errors. Please help! Thank you.

My brother has a showering problem?

I shower everyday and straighten my hair daily and im a 15 year old girl but my little brother who is 11 shower like every 3-4 days! sometimes once a week. Miserable 20 month old after tonsil, adenoid and tube surgery?

My 20 month old had his tonsils and adenoids removed and tubes put in yesterday morning. He is crying nonstop (I can only imagine how painful it must be). She is only just dead this morning, I awoke to an awful stench. My deceased father use to bury our animals when they died and I did not want to go to the specific spot he did it as I did not want to hit the other ones but I remembered this flowerbed areahe had dug up many many years before and thought that would be a good area, no flowers in it anymore near a banana tree that is dead. Does anyone know what I can do about my dog's...farting...problem?

I have a serious problem. I've googled and googled for answers, but I can't find anything. I HAVEN'T changed my dog's diet. She eats Royan Canin, breed specific dog food. I had my vet refer me to a nutritionist for dogs and this is one of the foods she suggested. My dog has been eating this food for months now, with no problems. My dog RECENTLY has had problems with extremely smelly gas! She passes gas so often and it reeks so badly, I just don't know what to do! Not a stupid question at all. Generally you just want your lead to be a bit louder than your rhythm setting. If you like the rhythm sound you get with the tube screamer then you could just slightly roll back the volume knob on the guitar (which lowers volume and cleans up the tone a little) and then when you start to play lead just roll the volume on the guitar all the way up. Leaving the pedal on will not drown out the other folks, you can set the volume at any level you want regardless of whether or not the pedal is on.

Am I being paranoid or are my worries justified?

I live alone in an appartment that's in a bad neighborhood (strip club and crackhead motel beside it yards away) and about three weeks ago someone tried to break in through the window. My upstairs neighbors scarred him off but ever since then I have been extremly paranoid at night. By paranoid I mean I usually don't get to sleep before 3:00 in the morning and when I do try to sleep I sleep for a few minutes at a time and then im up at every slight noise. That usually goes on until it is daylight outside. Then I go into a deep sleep. The hospital diagnosed me with paranoid schizophrenia, bi-polar disorder, and an anxiety disorder. To tell a little about my past mental state, earlier this year when I was not on meds I was convinced that members of my family where trying to murder me. Then I would have psycotic episodes involving me thinking a monster was entering my dreams and controling my actions. I honestly don't know if this paranoia I am experiencing is reasonable. I am on heavy psych meds right now and night is the only time it happens. I have resorted to desperate mesures to get to sleep and all any of it does is sidate me. That includes pot which does not make me paranoid but lazy and xanax that is not mine. The only thing that can make me sleep is if I take 2 or 3 mg of xanax with my five psych meds. Is this something my doctor needs to know about or is a moove needed. Also other than this I am doing very well with my mental state so that is why I am hesitant about telling him.

What you smell are all the things you mentioned and more. In general, the streets are filthy with trash, animal excrement and human waste alike. I'm sure you know, the city is highly populated and hot/humid. When you have that many people and some of those people and the animals are peeing, pooping, spitting, etc. in the streets (and all these odors are magnified by the heat/humidity) what would you expect? Recently pierced ear? Help!?

I recently got my left ear pierced at a tattoo shop, it has been about 10 days since it was pierced. I am going to a friends bay house and we will be water skiing, wakeboarding, kneeboarding, and tubing. I am afraid that my earring could possibly come out. It is titanium (I think), and it is a barbell, it screws on, and it is just a tiny circle. Should I cover the earring with a band-aid to prevent it from coming off during the activities, or should I just let it be (I know it cannot be taken out because it hasn't been 6 weeks.)? I have been swimming with it multiple times and it hasn't fallen off, I am just worried it could fall out after flying out of a tube which is being pulled behind a jet ski or boat. Could I cover it with something other than a band-aid? Please help!

Okay so im thirteen and have been dealing with ear problems for years. I had a ear tube when i was eight and got it taken out a few years after ad ever sense i deal with getting fluid in my ear really easyly and i have been searching for a GREAT ear plug for when i swim cuz i love going under water but if i get any water in my ear it either makes it worse or gives me severe pain. I have done the putty ear plugs and a costimized one and that kinda works but i need something better so if you can give me website and names for different ear plugs that would be great thanks!!

My neighbors constantly smoke pot, and my house REEKS?

I live in a townhouse, and my neighbors get high constantly. The stench is everywhere in my house, and it's really bothering me. I've talked to them before, and the smell started to die down a little, but now it's even worse. Should I call the cops? I think it's their choice as to whether or not they want to smoke, but they should do it somewhere where it won't effect others. Is there anything that can cover up the smell? I have a sensitive nose, so too many smells or ones that are too concentrated give me a headache. It's all just so frustrating!

How can I sleep at night?

I can't sleep at night. I can be so exhausted and still can't sleep. I can stay awake for 2 days just to try to fall asleep at night and still can't. I can't fall asleep until daylight. Its so frustrating to lay In bed while my hubby and kids are all asleep while I'm wide awake wishing I was sleeping. What can I do to help besides reading and taking sleeping pills. I am 24 and have had all the children I'm going to have, for sure. I have a very extensive family history of cancer, uterine cancer in particular. got it put on with some tweaking, to my 97 sportster. the manual while helpful did not answer some questions of mine. the overflow tube on the bottom of the carb, does it go anywhere, i don't think so but i want to make sure. if it doesn't go anywhere should i trim it? cause it is wicked long. the idle adjust also just hangs there, is that cool? the choke cable wasn't exactly cooperative, ordered a mikuni one, in the meantime as long as its push all the way in will i have problems keeping the bike going? appreciate the help, the learning process is making me feel incredibly uncool. thanks again.
